Tarangire National Park

About Tarangire National Park

One of Tanzania’s prominent wildlife reserves, renowned for its diverse landscape and large population of elephants, with baobabs standing over the Tarangire river.

In the dry season animals concentrate along the river, and herds of several hundred elephants are common. It is under two hours from Arusha, so it opens almost every northern itinerary.
